After a fantastic show at the SMF in Saarbruecken, Germany and the comeback of Magnus Karlsson, we will work hard now on the new songs for our forthcoming album. Studio is booked for July/August 2013 and some more exciting touring news will be revealed soon!

As Primal Fear is in the middle of their song writing session for their forthcoming album to be recorded in July and August, we have some more news from the Primal Fear members for you!

Mat is mixing his new album with Russell Allen (Symphony X, Adrenaline Mob) and is currently recording the new SINNER album “Touch Of Sin 2″ at the House of Music studios.

Voodoo Circle charted high with their new album “More Than One Way Home” in Germany #54 and Switzerland #99 and will go on tour in May/June in Europe feat. Alex Beyrodt & Mat Sinner.

Magnus Karlsson will release his first solo album “Free Fall” in June on Frontiers Records featuring bandmate Ralf Scheepers on Vocals. Check out the sound files below!

PRIMAL FEAR And Frontiers Records Renewed Partnership!

Frontiers Records and Primal Fear are pleased to announce to have renewed their partnership for another multi album deal which will include two more studio albums and one further Live CD and DVD. The band is already in advanced stages for the songwriting of the next studio album, which will be recorded during the summer of 2013 and released in early 2014.

Primal Fear bass player, songwriter and producer Mat Sinner said:

“We’re very excited about the final news that we will renew our contract with Frontiers Records for some more albums. My personal thanks go out to Serafino & Mario for their patience to deal with me. The band is very happy to continue with Frontiers Records after the release of our worldwide most successful album “Unbreakable” and their great work. We plan to enter the recording studio during the summer to record a new, ass kicking, pure metal album!“

We’re working hard on the future of the band atm. Aside of the two shows at the years end, we can announce today, that we will sign a new recording contract soon. Our target are 2 new studio recordings and a new Live DVD/CD/BR package. After next years Rock Meets Classic tour (feat. 4 members of the band), we will start with the songwriting for the new album and we have a lot of great riffs and even an album title in mind. Recordings will take place in July/August 2013.

“Strike”, the new video from German power metallers PRIMAL FEAR, can be seen below. The clip is a recap of the “Unbreakable” tour and festival season.

PRIMAL FEAR‘s latest album, “Unbreakable”, sold around 600 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 44 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

Released on January 24, 2012 in the U.S. via Frontiers Records, “Unbreakable” was tracked in part at House Of Music studios in Winterbach, Germany with producer/bassist Mat Sinner and engineer Achim Köhler (EDGUY, MASTERPLAN).

According to a press release, “Unbreakable” “combines the skills of the strongest PRIMAL FEAR lineup ever with a well-balanced ‘back-to-the-roots” vibe and an ambitious learning process during their longest tour so far. Classic and ultra-fresh PRIMAL FEAR riff-rockers like ‘Strike’, ‘Give ‘Em Hell’ or the high-speed track ‘And There Was Silence’ will hit the bulls-eye, like the rhythm paced metal anthem, first single and new video clip ‘Bad Guys Wear Black’. Less experiments, more rock! But there will be a nine-minute epic journey with a lot prog approach named ‘Where Angels Die’, a classic wonderful ballad ‘Born Again’ and the melodic power bomb ‘Metal Nation’.”
